At the heart of winter activities at Cottage Park Yacht Club are our four candlepin bowling lanes. They are home to men’s and women’s bowling leagues which are scheduled weekday afternoons and evenings throughout the winter months. The leagues’ fall and winter seasons are each capped off by banquets, with the winter season’s closing celebration — on Kentucky Derby Day each spring — serving as a sign that the summer will soon be upon us.
For members seeking to entertain friends or host a party, lanes are available for rental, $20 for a two-hour session. A signup sheet is available on the door to the alley. Arrangements for rental, as well as payment, can be made through the bartender on duty. Please be mindful of the bowling alley rules regarding food and beverage consumption, cleanup, and supervision of children in the alley.
